

Uncasville-Loretta C. Parker, age 91, of Uncasville passed away on June 9, 2015 at Crescent Point Assisted Living in Niantic. She was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on October 24, 1923 to the late Joseph and Marie (Christien) Hebert. She married her husband T. Kelly Parker on September 12, 1944 at St. John Church in Uncasville. He predeceased her.
Loretta was a member of the Mohegan Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the St. John Rosary Alter Society and the Columbiettes for Pequot Council 125.
She is survived by a son David Parker and his wife Deborah of Oakdale, a son Michael Parker and his wife Cindy of Mechanicsville, PA., a son Thomas Parker of Corvallis, OR., a daughter Mary Anne Parker Nicholson and her husband Frederick of Rutland, VT, and a daughter Kathleen Parker Barmak and her husband Bruce of Melbourne, FL. as well as nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a grandson Kevin Barmak, brothers Raymond, Alfred and Elphage Hebert and sisters Theresa Rousseau, Rita Rogers and Doris Antonino.
The family would like to thank the staff at Crescent Point and Vitas Hospice for the loving care and support that they have shown Loretta and her family.
Family and friends may visit the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 53 Norwich New London Tpke, Uncasville on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Church, Maple Ave., Uncasville.
