Lorraine Bohara

Manchester-Lorraine “Blondie” Delia Bohara, of Wildwood Drive, formerly of Norwich, passed away March 12, 2023 at the Manchester Hospital.
Lorraine was born May 31, 1928 in Norwich, the daughter of the late Ludger and Lillian (Plante) Peltier. She married the late Thomas T. Bohara on July 5, 1947 at Sacred Heart Church in Taftville. He passed away November 17, 2012.
She had worked as a teacher’s assistant at the Stanton School. She was a member of the Rose City Senior Center.
She is survived by her two sons, Thomas S. Bohara, and Theodore F. Bohara, Sr. and his wife Debra, four grandchildren, Vicki Bohara, Yvette Knox and husband Christopher, Theodore Bohara Jr., and Tiffany Bohara. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, Codi Bohara, Stephanie Welker, Franchesca Adorno, Jaxon Thomas Bohara, and Niko Thomas Bohara, and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her two brothers Norman Peltier and James Conlon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sts. Peter & Paul Church, 181 Elizabeth St., Norwich, on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 10 am, meeting directly at the Church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Norwich.
Memorial donations in memory of Lorraine Bohara may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
