Born in New York, Madeline enjoyed taking advantage of living in the west side of the city, with her mother, Jenny, by shopping, seeing shows, and listening to the Ukranian and German tunes that filled the city streets. In time, Madeline and her mother moved to Bayonne, New Jersey where she attended high school and developed several friendships that lasted many years.
After marrying Edward, the couple lived in Clark, New Jersey until moving to Gales Ferry, Connecticut. Through the years, Madeline and Ed raised four sons and instilled a love of the outdoors through skiing, boating and fishing. Real estate was another passion that Madeline and Ed shared. Madeline was Ed’s right hand in managing the family residential building company. The family spent many years at their second home in Florida enjoying the sun, nearby beaches, fishing and volunteering at the Sea Turtle Preservation Society. Most importantly, Madeline loved her family and could always be counted on for a delicious meal.
Madeline is survived by her four sons, Gregory (Tricia), Paul, Edward (Donna) and Scott (Suzanne), her grandchildren Leah and Nathan, her loving sister, Janet Urban, her nieces Jeanine Urban and Tanya Lazur and her nephew, Erek Urban.
