She was born in Hartford, CT on July 16, 1967 to Joseph J. and Albertra M. (Kanze) Frates. She became a phlebotomist and later changed her career to being a card dealer for Foxwoods.
Maggie is survived by her husband Shawn, her sons; James Lisee and Jonathan Pierce, sisters; Eileen Souza, Roberta Souza, Jeanne Frates and Mary Jarabek along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother Richard Souza.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 9th at 12:30pm at Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich, CT. Calling hours will be held from 11am until the time of the service. Burial is private at the convenience of the family. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
