Margaret Troy Heist

Margaret Agnes Heist 7/23/55-3/7/2017 Norwich Heist-On Tuesday, March 7, 2017, Margaret Agnes Troy Heist passed unexpectedly after a brief illness. Margaret was born in Corpus Christi, TX, on July 23, 1955 to loving parents, John and Frances Troy. Margaret had five sisters whom have all shared a special bond throughout their lives.

Margaret was a graduate from Ledyard High School, class of 1973, and attended Johnson and Wales University in 1974. After Johnson and Wales, Margaret worked for Electric Boat until the birth of to her two children, Andrew and Shannon Heist, her proudest accomplishment in life.

Margaret is preceded by her father, John Troy and mother, Frances Troy.

Margaret is survived by her sisters, Katherine Troy, Francie Troy Morris, Ellen Stone, Elizabeth Troy Calabrese, and Janet Troy; and many nieces and nephews.

Margaret had an immensely close relationship with her Mother, we are comforted to know that she is with her now in Heaven. Margaret is sorely missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday March 13, 2017 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the Church and Allen Funeral Home 136 Sachem Street Norwich, followed by a Funeral Service at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Please visit www.churchandallen.com to leave an online tribute or condolence.
