Mary Martin

She was born in Groton on August 19, 1958 to John McQueen and Carolyn Maynard. She married Gary Martin on August 9, 1996 at St. Patrick Cathedral in Norwich.

She is survived by her five sisters and 1 brother. Mary had 4 children: Kevin Martin and wife Jenna, Jason Martin and wife Lettie, daughter, Melissa Arpin and husband Joel, and Michael Brennan and partner John Nelson. She also had eight grandchildren.

Mary loved traveling with her husband Gary, and playing Bingo. She was an avid reader and lover of music. She also loved spending time in Hawaii with her sister-in-law Debbie Debon and her family.

Mary attended St. Patrick's Cathedral with her husband and also helped anyone in need if she could.

A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday Aug. 7, 2022 at 1 p.m. at 252 Boswell Avenue Norwich Ct.
