Meredith Davenport

Meredith was born July 27, 1938 in Quincy, MA, the daughter of the late Gordon and Martha Read.

She was married to the late Edwin M. Davenport Jr. who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her longtime companion Reginal Hanson.

She was a Navy wife for over 30 years and also worked as an LPN at the Mystic Oral School.

Meredith is survived by her son Edwin Davenport III and his wife Carol, daughters Lisa Davenport, Virginia “Gina” Newbold and husband Roger, by her 9 grandchildren Tanya, Edward, Christopher, Brandon, Angelina, Daniel, Jake, Justin and Sarah, and by her 13 great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Logan, Gabriella, Jacob, Jackson, Carleigh, Wyatt, Penelope, Barratt, Emelia, Gavin, Addison and Lukah on the way.

Funeral services will be private for the family. There are no calling hours.
