Napoleon Joseph Vanase Jr.

Napoleon was predeceased by his parents Anna (Formiglio) Vanase, Napoleon J Vanase Sr. and his grandson Todd J Cote Jr. Most people knew him by his nicknames Sonny or Nappy, He was a Military Veteran who served on the USS Taussig DD-746. He then went to work for Stop and Shop as the produce manager. Sonny loved fly fishing, hunting and was a champion skeet shooter.

Sonny leaves behind his devoted daughter Gina Marie Vanase and his two sons and daughter in-laws. Tony and Cristina Vanase, Kyle and Kim Vanase. He leaves his brothers Mike, Charlie, Cliff and Harrison Vanase. He also leaves his 7 Grandchildren, Daniel LeBlanc, and his wife Kristen. Nicholas Vanase and his wife Shailyn. Johnny, Anthony MacNeil, Emily Vanase and Caleb Vanase. Great-grandchildren, Parker, Austin and Liam Vanase, Samuel LeBlanc. He also leaves a very special friend Kriss Bickel

A Mass of Christian Burial for Napoleon will be held Friday, October 28, 2022, at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Taftville, Connecticut.

Following the Mass, at 11:00 am a Celebration of Life including Military Honors will be held at the Norwich Fish and Game Club, 44 Browning Rd, Norwich, CT
