Nicholas Paul DePolito

Norwich-Nicholas Paul DePolito, age 90, of Norwich, passed away on February 17, 1922 at Mystic Manor in Groton. He was born on March 3, 1931 in Norwich to the late Thomas and Isabelle (Lamparelli) DePolito. He married Barbara (Barr) DePolito on December 2, 1979 in Griswold. She survives him.

Besides his loving wife, Paul is survived by a son Steven DePolito and his wife Sherri of Oakdale, a son Gary DePolito and his wife Kelly of Canterbury, a daughter Karen DePolito of Layton, Utah, a daughter Lori Weseman and her husband John of Norwich, grandchildren Sara, Nicholas, Alexandria, Lacey, Katherine, Jessica, Joshua, Thomas and Ben and great grandchildren Sophia, Gabriel and Julianna. He also leaves behind a sister Mary Anderson and her husband Alfred of Groton, a sister Catherine Donat of Phoenix, AZ, a step son Michael Quibble and his wife Alice of Ledyard, a step daughter Lynn Watkins and her husband Charles of Groton, and a step daughter Deborah Clark of Virginia. He is predeceased by seven brothers and one sister, and his first wife Ruth (Ryder) DePolito who died in 1972.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Patrick Cathedral in Norwich. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Norwich.
