Nicholas J. Wylie

Nick graduated from the University of London, followed by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Appraisal Institute of Canada. His lifetime career in Real Estate management recently included his businesses Homebuyers Reality and FindaRent.Net followed by a very enjoyable retirement.

Nick was an avid vegetable gardener, indoor plant, and bonsai tree hobbyist. He enjoyed golf with his friends, cooking and site-seeing road trips with his wife, Joan, and faithful pet ‘Lucky Dog Wylie’.

Nicholas will be missed by his wife, Joan (Munch) Karlsen. Nicholas’ daughter Johana Chestnutt and husband Tim of New Hampshire, Nicholas Wylie Jr of Connecticut, Margot Wylie of Italy , and Vanessa Wylie of Vermont.

Nick endeared himself to and will be very much missed by his close family of in-laws, Gary Munch of Naugatuck CT, Mark and Linda Kalish of Seymour Ct, Amanda Kalish of Seymour CT, as well as Eric Karlsen of Seymour, CT and Guy and Erin Karlsen of Canton CT.

He leaves behind 7 beautiful grandchildren of whom he was very proud.

In accordance with Nick’s wishes, a casual ‘gathering of remembrance’ will be held at Nick and Joan’s home.
