Tedford- Norman E. Tedford, 82, of Norwich, passed into eternal life on October 20, 2013 after a brief fight with multiple myeloma. He was surrounded by his family. He was born on June 27, 1931, the youngest of three siblings who have all predeceased him. He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy and then was employed by Pfizer Inc. for 35 years retiring in 1990. Norman was an avid golfer and Red Sox fan. Norman leaves behind his partner of 25 years Ann Dailey, and his four children, Karen Michaud and husband Reo, son Gary Tedford and wife Namie, son Scott Tedford and daughter Heather Tedford, as well as 5 grandchildren, and 2 great granddaughters.. Visitation will be Friday Oct. 25, 2013 10a.m.-12p.m. at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen 53 Rte 32 Montville. Burial will be Friday October 25, 2013 at 1:30 in Elm Grove Cemetery Mystic. Following the burial, a gathering will be held at 3 p.m. at the American Legion Post 112 located on Pink Row in Montville.
