Patricia Ann Burdsall

May 17, 1936March 8, 2018

Patricia Ann Burdsall, 81, passed away peacefully at her home on March 8 with her family by her side.

Patricia was a passionate and social person, always the light in the room. Her insatiable hobby of stopping at every garage sale became her life's career as an antiques dealer. Up before dawn every day with vitality she reveled in the search for the perfect find and the opportunity to meet and chat with new and old friends. She loved to be by the coast, to be entertained and enjoy the company of family, friends and neighbors and was an avid practitioner of yoga.

She is survived by her husband Al Burdsall, her sons; Mitchell and Douglas Gordon, and her grandchildren; Cerina and Benjamin Gordon.

Services will be held May 4, 1pm at the Norwich VFW hall.

Al and sons....I am so very sorry for the loss of wife and mother....We met at the speech clinic at UConn...Al and Coach Dick Gunn chatted about their times in the military....also we saw each other at the casino. Always good times. I tried to call many times and tonight I went to the computer to get the correct phone number and read the obit. I am so sorry for your loss. Pat and I had some great conversation. Cherish the memories.

Pat was a wonderful dynamic lady whom I was so lucky to have met years ago when I was selling my house. She took charge of selling all the items and running the sale.
Pat also made great friends with my dog- and became my most trusted dog sitter. Lastly, she became a wonderful friend- always offering a smile, baked goods and great advice.
We will always remember her with a twinkle in her eye and a smile- whether it was about her family, her business, or life, in general. The world was a better place for having Pat be in it.
Our condolences to Al and family,
Lori and Mitch Corah
