She is survived by her sister, Rosemarie (James) Soper, 2 nephews — James R. Soper, Joseph Soper and a niece, Catherine Sheridan. Also 3 great nephews — Jack Soper, Logan Sheridan, Landon Sheridan and a great niece, Alyson Soper. She also leaves a sister in law Kelley Chinigo.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Mary Chinigo and brother, Frank Chinigo, Jr.
She was previously employed at Holdridge Nursery in Ledyard. She also volunteered at Backus Hospital for 15 years in Transport.
Visiting hours will be Friday Oct.23,2026 at the Church and Alen Funeral Home 136 Sachem Street Norwich from 10:00-11:00 am. A Funeral Service will be held immediately following the visitation at 11:00am.at the funeral home, followed by a graveside service at St. Joseph Cemetery in Norwich.
