Paula Schultze

Paula was born August 12, 1946 in Providence, RI, the daughter of the late Carl Huntington and Sabina Bernacki Schultz.

She married the love her life, Paul Schultze, in Norwich on May 3, 1980.

She was a 1966 graduate of Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School as well as of The Mohegan Community College LPN Nursing program in 1993.

Paula spent a lifetime working as a dedicated LPN with Hamilton Pavilion Healthcare, Interim Healthcare and in private geriatric homecare, and was beloved by her patients.

The heart of her family with a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh, she is survived by her husband Paul, her daughters Lauraly-Joy Mechealyea, Kasha Schultze, Tiffany Bickel and husband Richard, and by her grandchildren Elizabeth, Lillian and Jack Bickel, and Fredarikah Saabinne Mechealyea.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Carl Rudolph Schultz.

Visitation will be held at the Labenski Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 5 to 7 pm.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

The Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave. Norwich, is entrusted with arrangements.
