Ramon was born on August 10, 1950 in Hattiesburg, MS to Charles and Martha Ann Gautreaux.
On February 11, 1980, Ramon married Christine in Stony Creek, CT. They were baptized together as Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1984 and together, they shared 46 years of marriage and raised 4 children.
Ramon had a deep passion and fishing and canoeing. His favorite moments were spent spending time outdoors with friends and family, especially his yearly fishing trip down the CT river with his best friend Mike.
As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Ramon cherished the Bible’s promise of being resurrected and living forever in perfect health on paradise earth.
Ramon is survived by his beloved wife, Christine; his daughters, Sarah, Amy, and Adrienne; and his three granddaughters, Olivia, Evelyn, and Charlotte. He was preceded in death by his two sons, Jeremy and Malek.
A memorial talk will be held on July 18, 2026 at 1 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 282 CT-165, Preston, CT 06365.
