Waterford-Raymond J. Szalkowski Jr., 83, passed away at New London Rehabilitation and Care in Waterford on September 11, 2025. He was born in Norwich on August 10, 1942 to the late Raymond and Helen Szalkowski.
Raymond graduated from Norwich Technical High School. He owned the Four Seasons beauty salon in Uncasville, worked at Snappy Car Rental in Groton and then went on to retire as a slot supervisor in Foxwoods after 20 years.
Raymond leaves behind his long-time partner of 58 years Stephen Berube of Waterford, a brother Frank Szalkowski and his wife Shirley of Norwich and several nieces and nephews.
