

Bob was born in Hull MA, 7/13/1946 and spent a large portion of his childhood in Searsport, Maine. He loved visiting his family in Maine.
Bob was a proud Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Eastern CT State University and spent his career working with Developmentally Disabled individuals at Mansfield Training School, and then with the Department of Developmental Services. After he retired he continued his commitment to helping others by working at Easter Seals for several years.
One of Bob’s favorite past times was to study horse racing strategy. His most enjoyable memories were attending large horse racing events, the Breeder’s Cup, the Kentucky Derby, The Preakness and the Belmont Stakes.
Bob was predeceased by his parents Charlie and Beverly. He leaves behind his siblings Steve, Pat, Dick (his twin), Dawna, Jerry, Terry, Norman and Laurie, and two children Troy and Christine.
Bob’s quick wit and sense of humor will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
It was Bob’s wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to Freedom First Wildlife, 123 Dayton Rd., Waterford, CT 06385 or to PAWS Cat Shelter, 240A Route 171 Woodstock, CT 06281 A Memorial Gathering is being planned for the Spring.
