Pops was one of a kind, he had a heart of gold and was such a sweet sweet man. He showed me what it was like to have a dad and be part of a loving and caring family. He loved to tell stories and he gave great advice when needed. He would listen without judgment and truly cared about his family. Thanks pops for being the kind of man that you were and for raising a wonderful son that I call my husband. I am lucky to have met your son and become part of your family. I will love you always and you will forever be in my heart . Rest in peace.

While I never met Roger, I know his son and grandson, and that's enough to tell me what a great person he was. Bringing up good people is the best way to make the world a better place.
