Stephanie worked as a secretary for the State or Connecticut Dept. of Aging and Disability Services.
Besides her loving parents, she is survived by a daughter Phaedra Diggs, 5 brothers, Russell Howard of Rhode Island, Renard Pauley of CT, Latavious Wilkes of Florida, Quinell Booth of Maryland, Dana Booth Jr and Calvin Booth of Virginia, 2 sisters, Amber Gordon of Norwich and Lashawna Bowens of North Carolina.
She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Minnie DeBarros, and her paternal grandparents, Calvin and Nellie Booth.
Stephanie was a long time member of Shiloh Baptist Church in New London, a member of the Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation and also a member of the NAACP, Norwich Chapter.
Family and friends may visit Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich on Thursday, June 22nd . Viewing is from 10 AM- 12 noon, the service will begin at noontime at the Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Norwich. Repast will be at the Knights of Columbus, 47 S 2nd Ave., Taftville, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stephanie’s name to Shiloh Baptist Church, 1 Garvin St., New London, CT 06320 or to her daughter Phaedra Diggs C/O Terri DeBarros-Booth, 140 Mount Pleasant St., Norwich, CT 06360.
