Stephen H. Christie

Born on February 21, 1939, in South Weymouth, Massachusetts, Stephen was the beloved son of the late Alexander and Jennie (Hurshman) Christie.

Stephen proudly served his country in the United States Navy and carried that spirit of dedication and honor throughout his life.

Stephen leaves behind his children Anita (John) Morton, Delores Pothier, and Vicki (Richard) Friedrich; His grandchildren John (Renee) Morton, Jennifer (Kevin) Krueger, Charles Morton, Michelle (Joe) Barron, Sarah (Rion) Henderson, Alyssa Friedrich, and Lauren Friedrich. He also leaves behind 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Church & Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem Street, Norwich, Connecticut. A funeral home service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial with military honors will take place afterward at Pautipaug Cemetery, 157 Pond Road, North Franklin, Connecticut.

Stephen will be remembered with love by all who knew him.
