Stephen Diamond of Gales Ferry age 44, passed away at Smilow Cancer Center Hospital in New Haven on July 13, 2022, Surrounded by his wife and children. Stephen and Sherri married on November 7, 1999 in Monticello, Florida.
Stephen went straight into the Navy from high school and loved the career he made for himself serving his country. He retired after serving 22 years. After his military career, Stephen was enjoying his job at Electric Boat working on lower base at the Groton Subbase doing his dream job still working with submarines.
Besides his loving wife Sherri Diamond of Gales Ferry, he is survived by his daughters Kassidy, Hannah, Abigail and his son Patric. He is also survived by his granddaughters Aniyah, Acacia, Alaya and Adeline.
Rest in peace with our Sweet Teddy Bear Bethany.
Family and friends may visit Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem Street, Norwich on Tuesday July 19, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with full military honors being rendered at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society at givenow.lls.org.
