Todd was a character, very outgoing, opinionated, and sensitive, with a great sense of humor. He had empathy for people on a deep level and he loved to make people laugh.
He was employed at Riverview in Moosup for years, the Chief’s Deli Restaurant for years at Mohegan Sun Casino before becoming a Black Jack Dealer. He loved working but health complications for the past ten years wouldn’t permit him.
Todd lived and breathed the Mets and the Giants. It became a family tradition that we all go the Citifield Field each year to see a game. It makes me happy that he was able to see his Met team win the first two games.
Todd was a very spiritual and was a member of St. Patrick Cathedral. In all his surgeries, his hospital stays, his ongoing pain, he never lost faith in his Jesus because he knew how much Jesus loved him. Todd’s strength was from God. We may not understand why these things happen but I believe there is a purpose in everything. He always said, “Mom, if my suffering helps another child not to suffer than it’s worth it.” Who says that? Todd.
Todd gets the EZ-PASS and goes directly to the front of the class. And one day, I’m sure of it, we will see each other again.
Todd was predeceased by his father, Keith Alan LaLima. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Caron of Norwich, his sister, Krystal and Josh Davis of Groton, and his grandparents, Richard and Lillian Caron of Bozrah, his Aunt Lisa and Uncle Mark Dubicki of Bozrah, his Aunt Laurie and Uncle Andy Soulor of Griswold, his Uncle Kevin and Aunt Michelle Caron of Uncasville, his Uncle Keith and Aunt Nina Caron of Canterbury, his Uncle Calvin Caron of Bozrah, and many first and second cousins who loved him very much and extended family too.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 18th at 10:30am at The Cathedral of St. Patrick, 213 Broadway, Norwich, CT. There are no calling hours and burial is private. There will be a Celebration of Todd’s life at Prime 82 Restaurant in Norwichtown after the Mass.
Todd was an animal lover so in lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to:
