Born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late John and Vera Hajcsak.
Vivian worked for 17 years at the Otis Library in the Circulation Department. It was a perfect fit for her as she was an avid reader, always having plenty of books on hand to bring her joy. Another true passion was gardening. There were always beautiful plants in the house along with her flourishing outdoor garden, which she took great pride in. It was very aesthetic, filled with a colorful array of many different flowers and plants. She knew the names of each one and just what they needed to thrive. It also included a Japanese footbridge that she designed and her husband built for her. She loved to sit outside to watch all the birds and listen to them sing their beautiful songs. Then with a big smile, she would point to the sky and tell us the names of the mystery bird!
Vivian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She had a big, kind and caring heart especially towards her family and friends. She was always very generous, thoughtful and compassionate.
In addition to her devoted loving husband, Louis, she leaves behind three daughters; Lori Algiere and her husband Kevin, Lee Faragosa, Lynn Faragosa, and her beloved sister and best friend, Eileen Piscatelli. Also, she will be missed by her grandson Ryan Algiere, along with her niece and nephews. She was predeceased by her son John Faragosa, and her grandson Jesse Torrans. The precious memories of her life and her love will forever remain in our hearts.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
