Dear Beradine and sons Ryan and Shane,
It was a very sad day to hear about Wayne's passing. Both Kathy and I were very good family friends while we worked at Fair Oaks
School in Montville. He was a caring teacher and also a running companion at the Rose Arts in Norwich. One time he shared his lunch with a stray cat outside his office window . The cat found a friend and a new home. That how he operated- he cared !
Wayne will be missed by all!

Bernadine and family,
Judy and I are so sorry to read about your untimely loss. Whenever Wayne was there, a CorePlus function, a charity drive, pitching in on some task, you knew a friend was around. The smile, the laugh, the sense of fellowship made those times special.
We will remember him fondly, an extension of his life in our memories.

The world has lost a truly great man...a loving husband, a wonderful father , and a good friend. Wayne will be remembered by his past students because he always gave them the ability and belief that they could accomplish anything ,the belief that they were important and loved ,the confidence to believe in themselves . It takes a special person to be able to convey this message to young teens and Wayne was that person. Bernadine, Shane, and Ryan please know in your hearts that your Wayne was a gift ,his legacy will live on through you ..make him proud ....May he Rest In Peace. Much love Margie and Gary Murphy❤️

Mr. Wayne Edgley was such a great educator. Students (counting myself) loved him because he always knew how to make you laugh. He was understanding; knowing students' issues and finding a way for them to understand the concept. And he always believed in the little guy. Wayne Edgley, you truly were a big impact on many students. Rest in peace, and I send thoughts and prayers to family and friends during this difficult time.

To the Edgley Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. Mr. Edgley was my soccer coach at MHS way back in the 90s and then I had the pleasure of working with him as an employee of the Montville Public Schools. I remember him fondly as a soccer coach...I was not much of an athlete, but he gave me the opportunity to be a part of a team. He was always kind, encouraging, and had a great sense of humor. The people of Montville were lucky to have him as a teacher, coach, and friend. May he rest in peace. I hope you can find some comfort in your own memories and in the memories others share with you in the coming days.
