William was born November 29, 1954 in New York, the son of the late William and Georgina (Rivers) Alvarez.
He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
He married Noelle Henderson January 25, 2019. She survives him.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife.
