

He was born on November 11, 1942 in E. Lyme, CT., graduated Technical School, and entered the US Army serving during the Vietnam War. After serving his country, he began his family in the area while working as a master electrician, security guard, and finally a cab driver until his retirement. When not working he enjoyed spending time with friends, golfing, and fishing.
Bill is survived by his adoptive father; Norman Emond of Dayville, CT., daughters; Stephanie Cobb of Brooklyn, CT, Veronica Snow of Wilmington, NC, Jennifer Hitchings of Hardin, IL, Amanda Combies of Massachusetts, and special girls he treated as his own daughters; Maureen Marsh, Katelyn Norman, and Laura Norman along with three grandchildren; Benjamin Cobb, Zachary Snow, Ariana Combies and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday at 11am at the Church & Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich, CT with Military Honors. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be a calling hour from 10am until the start of the service.
Church and Allen Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements.
