

He was born in Norwich on Oct 12, 1984 to William and Susan (Piazza) Huntington III. Will was predeceased by his father in 2013.
Will was a graduate of Montville High School where he played football and baseball. He received his Business Degree from the University of Vermont and played baseball for the Division I Catamounts. He also played baseball at UConn-Avery Point and set the record for career-stolen bases. The Pointers reached the NJCAA College World Series in 2004. Will received his M.S. in Ecological Teaching & Education from Lesley University/Audubon Expedition Institute in Cambridge, Mass.
He has worked as a Crossfit and Yoga Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer, Wilderness EMT and Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach throughout New England. Using his education and certifications together, Will found his passion as a Math Teacher and Weight-lifting and Baseball Coach at St. Thomas More School, Oakdale, CT., until the time of his passing.
Will and his family have traced their ancestry directly to Simon and Christopher Huntington, who helped settle Norwich in 1659.
Will loved traveling the world and spending time with family and friends, especially his four-legged one, Rocky.
He is survived by his mother, Susan Huntington, sisters; Jill Mazzalupo and her husband Marc, Melissa Huntington and her partner Brooke Henderson, nephews; James & Matthew Mazzalupo, niece; Olivia Huntington, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, countless friends and of course, Rocky.
Calling hours will be held Friday, Feb 5th, from 4pm-7pm at Church & Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich, CT. A Celebration of Life for his family and friends will be held on Saturday, Feb 6th at 10am for at Montville High School Auditorium, 800 Old Colchester Rd., Oakdale, CT. Burial is private at the convenience of the family.
