William E Robinson

Bill was born in Norwich, CT on March 19, 1955 to William and Audrey (Lathrop) Robinson, both of whom survive him. On Sept. 16, 1985 he married Gail (Vezina) in Preston, CT. She too survives him.

Bill was a computer designer and created computer systems for multiple insurance companies during his life but he was much more than his career. A loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he enjoyed nothing more than to be among his family. He loved all genres of music, was a Boy Scout leader for many years, was a member of the Willimantic Train Museum and seldom couldn’t answer a question on his favorite show, Jeopardy.

He is survived by his parents, Bill & Audrey Robinson, his wife Gail, son; Mark Higham Jr and wife Carol, daughter; Linda Santiago and husband Luis, sister; Catherine Walton and husband Robert, grandchildren; Rachel Saunders, Matthieu Stevens, Joshua Stevens, and Mark Higham III, great-grandchildren; Amaree McKnight, Gabrielle Daniels, Madeline Saunders and Lincoln Saunders along with several nieces, nephews and cousins including nephew; Kyle Walton and wife Michelle and their four sons, and niece; Kalyn Travis, her husband Seth and their two daughters.

Calling Hours will be held Thursday, August 22nd from 5pm – 7pm at Church & Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Patrick, 213 Broadway, Norwich on Friday, August 23rd at 10am meeting directly at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
