Andy V. Meigs, 78, passed on June 18, 2026. Born October 7, 1947, in New Berlin, New York, Andy was the son of Vernon and Frances (Sanderson) Meigs. A resident of Norwich, New York, he lived with a steady devotion to work and a deep appreciation for the world beyond the doorstep.
Andy worked for Frontier as a Cable Splicer until retirement, a role that reflected his hard-working nature and the quiet pride he took in doing a job well. Away from work, his adventurous spirit found its truest expression outdoors—he loved walking, loved the outdoors, and valued the simple, sustaining peace of time spent outside.
On February 8, 1980, Andy married Patricia McIntyre, who survives him. Andy had strong devotion to his family especially his wife Patty.
At Andy’s request, there will be no service; a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
