
Anna was born on June 11, 1979 in Norwich the daughter of Mary Cummings Coles and Melvin Yager.
She is survived by her mother Mary E. Coles, brother, Richard L. Jenkins Jr., step-father Andrew R. Coles Jr., grandmother Sally Coles, her nieces Ashley M. Jenkins, Brooke A. DeMuth and nephew Teagyn M. DeMuth. Also surviving is her best friend Chantel R. Thomas and her children Allison, Craig, Madison and Hannah Thomas, Aunts Sue Cole, Inez Cummings, Penny Allen, Joan Smith, Sherry Conventino and Uncle Edwin Cummings along with many nieces and nephews and husband Travis Ray.
Anna was predeceased by her grandmother Anna E. Cummings, grandfather, Edwin L. Cummings Sr., cousin, Ed Cole Jr., Uncle Ed Cole Sr., grandfather Andrew R. Coles, Sr., and father Melvin Yager.
Anna was a dedicated 11 year employee of New York State Parks at Bowman Lake. She was the Bowman Lake Maintainence Supervisor, was a member of the NYS Parks Safety Committee and trained in the game of logging. She is famous for her events such as Boonanza, fishing derby’s, I love my park days, Luau and Carnival along with many others. Anna’s love and pride for “her” park was obvious to all who knew her. She loved to wear her State Park Green. She will be deeply missed by her co-workers and campers.
A service for Anna will be held on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 1:00 pm from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeremy Stopford will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Monday from 11-1pm.
