Bonnie L. Mott

Bonnie Lou Mott, 65, of Norwich, went home to be with the Lord and to rejoin her family and friends who have gone before her on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born Bonnie Lou Monroe on July 24, 1956 in Norwich, the daughter of the late Samuel and Doris (Brazee) Monroe. She attended Norwich area schools, graduating from the Norwich High School class of 1974.

On September 8, 1979, she married Frank Mott, who predeceases her. They made their home in Norwich and, in later years, Bainbridge, and Bonnie occasionally worked for a local night-shift cleaning company.

In her leisure time, Bonnie enjoyed listening to all different kinds of music and watching television. She also greatly enjoyed a game of cards, and enjoyed many years of getting together to play a hand with friends.

She is survived by her second cousin: Dorene Zimmerman of Oxford; her best friend of many years: Cathy Warner of Norwich; as well as many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Burial will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Norwich, at the convenience of the family.
