Brad and I were  both in the 68th Cadet Class where we were PT partners.  Even though things were serious, he always managed to make me laugh.  Brad was a super nice guy and I’m sorry we never got to work together.  Rest easy friend.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Conner as my father-in-law.  He was a good man who loved his daughter and grand-daughter immensely. He was always one to offer advice and loved to tell stories from days way before my time.  I will keep you and your girls in my prayers. Rest in peace sir.

From the other end of your radio "Conner" you were always kind and appreciative to APD Communications Dispatch.  I had practice in that I have cousins from Boston (accent) and enjoyed helping the newer dispatchers decipher the accent! You are still a kind soul.

I went through the Austin Police Academy 68th Cadet class in 1984 and  greatly enjoyed my time with him and working with him throughout our employment at APD . An honest straight forward speaking man who told you the truth of what he thought about something. We could never cure him of his Yankee accent and enjoyed many a laugh together trying to decipher where he had been at lunch one day. When we all returned from lunch and inquired as to his absence. He informed us that has to go get some cow pats.  Huh? What's a cow pat Brad? Looking at us like we were idiots for asking he replied. Cah pahts. You know pahts for your cah.  OH Car Parts......................greats times. We will miss you Brad. Smooth sailing friend.

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. Brad was quite a fine man. He and  I attended the Austin Police Academy together and worked our first two years on the same shift.  May he rest in peace as our Lord and  savior gives you peace and comfort during these difficult times.
