Brenda May Jones, 83, passed on October 9, 2026. She was born February 7, 1943, in Norwich, New York, the daughter of Morris and Mildred (Wright) Jones. A longtime resident of Smyrna, New York, Brenda was known for the steady devotion she brought to the people, places, and routines that mattered most to her.
For many years, Brenda worked for Terrell Potato Chips in Syracuse, a role she carried out with quiet diligence and reliability. Outside of work, she found simple joys and faithful purpose—especially in the companionship of her beloved cats and in her membership at Smyrna Baptist Church.
Brenda is survived by her brother, Donald R. Jones; and her sister, Lynda Conklin. She was predeceased by her brother, Eugene Jones; and her sister, Kathleen Alice Franklin.
Brenda will be laid to rest at Willcox Cemetery, Earlville, NY.
