Cindy A. Hart

Cindy was born March 14th 1970 in Norwich NY. Cindy’s courageous battle with cancer came to an end on May 9, 2026. She was 56 years old.

Cindy’s nurturing spirit, unwavering support, and boundless love will forever live on through her children: Sara Hart (Caleb Smith), Selena Farr, and Diane Hart. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren—Damian, Michael, Aidan, John, Madison, and Isabella—whom she loved dearly.

She is also survived by her stepmother, Roberta Shedd, and her siblings: Charles Shedd, Bette Lewinski (Larry Hall), Ann, Mark Chesseboro, and Rosie Cardner. Cindy also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her Husband John P. Hart; Parents Roger Shedd and Minnie Evelyn Shedd; her boyfriend, Herbert Hovencamp Jr., and her siblings: Nora Sheldon, Ralph Shedd, Bruce Shedd, and Frankie Phillips.

Cindy was caring to everyone she knew and always had open arms for anyone in need. She will be deeply loved and never forgotten.

A gathering to celebrate Cindy’s life will be held at a later date.
