Dewey R. Bonnell

He was born May 29, 1957 in Bellefonte, PA, the son of Robert Lewis and June Helen (Schaeffer) Bonnell.

Dewey graduated from Norwich High School in the Class of 1975. He also attended Williamsport Community College.

Dewey honorably served in the United States Navy, serving active duty from 1983 to 1987, and then served in the Navy Reserves for 18 years.

On July 13, 1985 he married Patricia Carnrike, at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Norwich.

Settling in Norwich, Dewey worked at Page Print and then Norwich Pharmaceuticals/Alvogen for 20 years. In his leisure time, he loved fishing, especially in Waterville, PA, near where his parents grew up.

Dewey is survived by his wife, Patricia Bonnell, his children, Brian, Richard (Deanna), and Sarah (Kennedy); his grand-sons Liam, Gabriel, Jonathan, Matthew, and Jacob (who will be born in July 2022); his sister, Sharon (Phil) Mason; his aunt, Barbara Ralston; his uncle, James Bonnell; as well as many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 15, from 12pm to 2pm at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 North Broad Street, Norwich. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm.

Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Norwich.
