

She was born in New Berlin, NY, April 13, 1932 to her parents, Veda Talbot Aikins and Edwin Aikins.
She moved to Sherburne at age 12, in April 1943, with her mother and step-father, Roy Webster. She graduated for Sherburne Central School in June of 1951.
She worked for Standard Brands dog food in Sherburne until her marriage to Leonard L’Hommedieu on March 29th, 1954, after which she worked for Gladding in South Otselic for a period of time. She then went to work at Norwich Bennett Ireland for 20+ years, from which she retired.
She married Richard Bauder on August 20, 1978.
She leaves her son, Randy and Korinne L’Hommedieu of Truxton; her daughter, Michele and Chris McDonald of German; her daughter, Denise and Dick Bushnell of Cortland; her grandchildren: Brendan (McKenna), Connor, and Daniel L’Hommedieu, Justin (Megan) Tefft, Renee (Tyler Eaton) Bush, Cody Kemak, Jennifer Huntley, Desiree (Jeramy) Hotaling and Kerri (Jay Riley) Bushnell; and her great-grandchildren: Dilan, Damian, Danica, Drew, Peyton, Blair, Grady, Evie, Tess, and Lakelyn.
She was predeceased by the father of her children, Leonard L’Hommedieu, on March 17, 2007; her husband, Richard Bauder, on October 8, 1992; and her brother Robert Aikins, on November 30, 2017.
Burial will take place in North Pitcher Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
A Celebration of Life will take place in the future at a date and time to be announced.
