Doc will be missed dearly. He was a wonderful man and an icon of the community. You always saw him with a smile on his face and he was never to busy to chat with someone. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Janet Dickinson Burgess (So. New Berlin,N.Y.)

Doc will be missed by all who knew him, Having known Doc for over 35 years he was my Mentor when i first went into the fire service. He showed me "the ropes" You did it right or you did till you got it right. Gonna miss you coming into the house at Fire Police Picnics walking straight to the fridge and seeing what was to eat. Thank you Doc for being my friend. I will miss you... Caroline. Chenango County Fire Police Chaplain
