Florentine was the cherished daughter of the late Frances Turtelboom (Reidinger) and Gustave Turtelboom. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jeannette Sanford. Her legacy continues through her loving family: her son, Frank J. Barrera (Jeannette), her granddaughter, Tiffany Frasier (Chris), her grandson, Frank A. Barrera (Christina), and her great-grandchildren, Zayne, Areilla, and Caden.
Florentine's greatest achievement in life was being a mother and grandmother, raising a wonderful family that she loved dearly. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very special to her and held a significant place in her heart.
A kind-hearted and generous individual, Florentine dedicated her time to volunteering, particularly as a home care volunteer and at the Norwich Senior Center. Her faith was an integral part of her life, as she was a member of Saint Bartholomew's Church of Norwich.
Florentine found joy in personal interests such as solving crossword puzzles, engaging with various puzzles, and attending the state fair. Her love for these hobbies was only matched by her love for her family.
