Frank O. Miles

Frank was born in Poolville, NY on June 22, 1935 the son of Frank and Lena (Sabines) Miles. As a young boy he moved with his family to the Norwich area where he attended and graduated from the Norwich Schools. Over the years Frank has worked for the Chenango County Highway Dept., Ostrom Signs and Smith Ford. His longest and most recent employment was with P&G for 27 years from which he retired in 1997 as a chemical operator.

Frank was a quite individual who enjoyed his fishing and camping. In 1964 in Oxford he maried Roberta Smith who survives.

Besides his wife Roberta of Norwich he is survived by his children Edward Smith and his fiancee Shirley Shepard of Plymouth, Richard Angle and wife Lesa of Plymouth, Roxann Stone and companion Mark Youngs of Pharsalia, his brother Lawrence Miles and wife Toni, his sister Natalie Manwarren and husband Lynn all of Norwich and his grandchildren Tanya, Trixie and Candie Smith, Richard Angle and wife Stacey, Tracy Knapp and husband Tim, Heather Straight, Michael Miles, Dustin Angle and wife Jillian and Shelby Stone. Also survivng are several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Frank was predeceased by his parents Frank and Lena Miles, a daughter Susie Smith, his brothers Ralph and Jimmy Miles, sisters Agnes Jipson and Eloise Warner and a son-in-law Justin Stone.

A funeral service for Frank will be held on Wed., Dec. 11, at 12:00 Noon from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Wed. from 10:00 am until the time of the service at Noon
