Glenn R. Huffine

Glenn R. Huffine, 88, of Norwich, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 6th, 2025. He was born on July 5th, 1936 in Johnson City to the late Herschel and Barbara Huffine. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara (Davis) Huffine who he married on February 6th, 1965; his daughter, Glendeana; his son in-law, George; his grandchildren, Valerie, Stephany (Jedda), Steven (Christina), and Joseph (Tiphany); and ten great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, Glenn was predeceased by his siblings; and granddaughter, Carolyn.

Glenn was a devoted family man, an avid gardener/farmer with a passion for music that he got from his grandfather who was a composer. He lived an active life full of many hobbies and a strong work ethic from working at Ford Homes, Page Seed, and Victory Market, but most of all Glenn was active in his church and loved spending time with his wife and family.

A funeral service for Glenn will take place at 12:00pm on Saturday, February 15, at R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 N. Broad St. Norwich. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 until the time of service. Glenn will be laid to rest at Mt. Hope Cemetery in the spring.
