Glorianna DuBois

Glorianna C. DuBois (nee Stone) passed away on August 20, 2024 at the age of 86, in Otselic NY. She was born on September 25, 1937 in Mt. Upton, NY. Glorianna dedicated her life to her family and community as a homemaker and farmer.

Glorianna will be remembered for her kindness and loving nature. She was a pillar of strength for her family and an active volunteer at the Sunshine Shop. Her commitment to helping others was evident through her years of service. In her personal time, Glorianna found peace in reading her Bible, working on family history,and crocheting. These activities brought her much joy. She was a devout member of the South Otselic Methodist Church, where she participated in various community activities and formed many cherished relationships.

Glorianna is survived by her children, Donald (Traci), of Cliffside, NC; Sally Cuellar (Gerado), of Rancho Cordova, CA; Joanne, of NY; Ron (Jayme), of Pitcher, NY; and John, of Norwich, NY. She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who have inherited a legacy of love and kindness. Glorianna was predeceased by her parents, Hugh and Claire Stone; her husband, Donald DuBois, Sr.; and her daughters, Donna Miller, Shelly Beckwith, and Joan Parks; as well as all of her siblings.

Glorianna’s family invites friends to come and reflect on her enduring spirit on Tuesday, August 27 from 11:00am – 1:00pm, at R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 N. Broad St. Norwich. Her life and memory will be honored in a graveside service at North Pitcher Cemetery on Tuesday at 2:00pm with Pastor Jeanne Angell officiating.
