Jim was a kind, quiet man. Very thoughtful and supportive.
When Nancy and Gary were dating I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time at Jim and Chris’ home. They both made me feel like part of the family. I particularly remember one day when some of us saw a small jet coming into the airport and Jim took us down to see if we could get a good look at it. Well, we did and the pilot even let us climb aboard and check it out.
Ever since then I have enjoyed flying and have had the opportunity to take the controlls a few times.
He will be greatly missed, but I have faith that when Jesus comes Jim will be called along with Chris to everlasting life. And we won’t need aircraft to fly!!!
