Janet G. Franklin went to be with her family in Heaven after passing on December 20, 2021 at the Norwich Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, where she had received excellent care for the past three years.
Born February 11, 1935 to the late Harold & Roxie Moore, Janet resided in Norwich her entire 86 years, working various jobs and looking out for her family and friends.
Besides her parents, Janet is predeceased by her husband, Elbridge "Shorty" Franklin, and two brothers, Thomas and Albert Moore.
Surviving are two nephews and a niece: James (Sandra) Moore, Gary Moore, and Debra (Brian) Cooper, all of Norwich; and a special great-niece, Deanne Burton of Endicott. Also surviving are cousins and other extended family
A graveside service for Janet will take place in the spring at Mount Hope Cemetery, Norwich, at a date and time to be announced.
