Jason S. Huzinec

in Bound Brook, NJ, he moved with his family to Norwich, NY 16 years ago. He wrestled since

the age of 5, and played football and baseball throughout his school years. He had a passion for

the New York Yankees and San Fran 49ers. He was a music lover, especially enjoying jam bands

such as Grateful Dead and Phish, going all over the East Coast for shows. Jason even took his

little sister to her first festival. He also loved attending live music festivals locally and will be

remembered as a free spirit. He worked with his family remodeling business for most of his work

career, for which he ran the day-to-day operations as a talented carpenter and builder. More

recently, he enjoyed hobbies such as embroidery and crafting. He dearly loved his nephew

Rowan - who he called his “Little Man,” and adored his niece Adaline. Rowan loved his uncle J

and would try to build with him.

Jason was predeceased by Paternal Step Grandmother Catherine Huzinec and Rosemarie Huzinec.

Survivos include his parents Donna and Greg Huzinec (Norwich), his brother, with whom he shared such a tight bond, Gregory Huzinec Jr. (Norwich), his sister, who he was very protective over, Alyssa Hartwell (Leon), his nephew Rowan and niece Adaline Hartwell, his Paternal Grandfather Nicholas Huzinec, and his Maternal Grandparents Terry and Lois Revels (NC), as well as Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by many close friends in NJ, his homeboys for life “RLR”. He loved them dearly and attended every occasion. Jason was loved by so many, had a huge heart and was protective over his family. He will be missed. A funeral service will take place at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 14, at R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 N. Broad St. Norwich with Pastor Nathan Metzler officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made to Gregory Huzinec in honor of Jason “Froggy” Huzinec to help with his final expenses.
