Joseph G. Ostroski, 86, of Norwich, NY passed away on January 22, 2026. He was born in Newark on June 29, 1939 to the late George and Mary Ostroski. He was also predeceased by his seven brothers and sisters. Joseph leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Mary Anne Duffy-Ostroski; his children, Joseph Ostroski, Jr. and Jennifer Visco, Kim Crognale, and Stacy and John Stampone; his grandchildren, Nicole, Danielle, Joshua, AJ, Jayde, Karli, Alex, Tia, John, and Tori; eight great-grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews.
Joseph worked for many years at Westinghouse in Bloomfield repairing electric motors. He will be remembered for his easygoing ways and his ability to make friends with anyone he met. He was supportive of his community, serving on the Bloomfield Board of Education and volunteering at other community events. He was a proud member of the Jersey Cobras Motorcycle Club for many years and loved riding his bike until his health prevented him from doing so.
At Joseph’s request, there will be no formal services.
