Joe graduated from Syracuse University and served 5 years in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his three daughters, Hope Rapp (Michael), Nicole Norton, and Jennifer Barkei (James); five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and the mother of his children and good friend, Jean.
