Ken was born on July 5, 1937 in Deposit the son of Arvid and Hattie (Bolster) Fink. He grew up in Deposit where he attended the local school. In November of 1961 he married Cecile Knapp who survives. Over the years Ken had been employed by Red E Pak Foods of North Norwich and the Norwich City School System as a custodian from which he retired.
Throughout his life Ken enjoyed his hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing on TV and racing at Skyline Raceway.
Ken is survived by his wife Cecile of South Plymouth, his children; Peggy (George) Hackett of Beaver Meadow, Kenneth (Cher) Fink, Jr. of South Plymouth, Danny (Heather) Fink of Georgetown, Anita (Kenneth) Mierzwa of Syracuse, Frank (Loretta) Fink of South Plymouth and Rocky (Lynn Stone) Fink of NC. Also surviving are his 3 sisters; Louella Nelson of New Berlin, Patricia Adsit of Sheburne, Linda Warren of New Berlin, 1 brother Ronald (Susie) Fink of New Berlin, 35 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews and one nephew very dear to Ken’s heart Ronnie Stephens of GA.
Ken was predeceased by a brother Wilbur Fink and a sister Edna Fink.
A funeral service for Ken will be held on Tuesday, May 1, at 10:00 am from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. Pastor David Mayo of the Cornerstone Church of Hamilton will officiate. Interment will follow in the South Plymouth Cemetery.
Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Monday from 4-7.
