He was a member of the Broken Squares square dance group, and a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church. In the later years actively served at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. He also served on the Chenango County Assessor’s Review Board. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Lee. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Robert (Robin) and Alan (Faith) as well as four grandchildren, Michael (Tori), Bethany, Moya and Paul. There will be calling hours at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, North Broad Street, Norwich on Friday, March 15, from 6-8 pm. A Celebration of Life service for Larry will be held at the Christ Lutheran Church, Norwich on Saturday, March 16, at 11:00 am. I grew up with my cousins, Larry and Mary Lee. I fondly remember their visits with their parents to my grandparents' farm. We were fortunately able to rekindle our relationship through our "cousins'luncheons" in recent years. Larry was a kind, gentle family man; sincere condolences to his wife and family.
