Luana Weyrauch

Luana was born in Norwich on Aug. 22, 1936 the daughter of Marian L. and Prudence L. Byam Crawford. She attended the Norwich schools and has spent her entire life in the Oxford and Norwich areas. On April 28, 1972 in New Berlin she married John Weyrauch who passed away Dec. 31, 2007. Over the years she has been employed by C&U Telephone Co., Oxford Great American, the Raymond Corp. and Electron Coil.

Luana is survived by her children, George Ryan II and his wife Lynn of Oxford, Marianne Scates of Roseville, CA and John Ryan and his wife Yulanda of Somerville, AL, her sisters Joyce Cooley of GA., Valerie Streichert of VA., Lorraine Jeffrey and her husband Roger of Oxford, Catherine Hannibal and her husband John of Grand Island, NY and her brother Rodney Crawford and his wife Sharon of Oriskany Falls. Also survivng are many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband John, Luana was predeceased by a daughter Margaret Jane.

At Luana’s request there will be no formal services and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
