Michael Slaucenburg

Mike was born in Norwich on August 26, 1959 the son of Charles A. and Evelyn (Shore) Slaucenburg.

He was a resident of Sherburne for most of his life. Following the death of his parents he owned a operated the former Ma&Pa’s restaurant of Sherburne. He also had driven truck for several years and was a landlord since 1986.

Mike was a fun loving guy who enjoyed his camping and also was known to have a stubborn streak as well as sometimes being a bit grumpy.

In 1980 in Smyrna he married Edna Collar who survives. Besides his wife Edna of Sherburne, Mike is survived by his daughters Martha (Richard II) Fuller and Kelly (James) Angle both of Sherburne. Also surviving are his grandchildren Travis Angle, Katelin Angle, Kevin Angle, Richard Fuller III and Micheal Fuller as well as cousins Teenie and Jim Gadamowitz.

A gathering will be held on December 10, 2023 at the Sherburne Fire House from 1-4 pm.
